Ten Traits of Highly Intuitive Children

Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children are highly intuitive.  The intuition that these children exhibit varies, but one thing is certain, they are sensing, feeling and thinking in ways that other children do not.  Many of these children are diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Asperger's Syndome, Autism, Auditory Processing Disorder...among many other labels, diagnoses and disorders.  Unfortunately, in many cases, these labels are used when children don't fit into an outdated, inflexible society that is resistant to change.

How do you know if your child is highly intuitive?  If you can answer yes to the majority of the following ten traits, then your child is most likely highly intuitive.

 1.  Often tunes out and stares off into space, then suddenly snaps back
 2.  Has knowledge way beyond their years
 3.  Has frequent nightmares and/or visions
 4.  Communicates with "imaginary" friends, angels, spirits, animals
 5.  Sees or knows about events before they occur
 6.  Often finishes the thoughts and sentences of others
 7.  May get physically ill when family or friends are stressed
 8.  Is highly sensitive to loud noises, crowded places, conflict, tension between family members and negative world events, uncomfortable clothing
9.  Reacts to the feelings, thoughts & emotions of others...these reactions range from acting out to trying to heal others with hugs and kisses
10.  May speak about their own past lives and the past lives of family members
